Dec., and I'm back in Ohio,cold and snow. What a snafu returning,connecting flight canceled,and to the bottom of the pond I go. Almost impossible at times to get to your destination.Two days at Philly Int,, settled for Pitt. Pa instead of Erie. Just part of traveling in the modern world. My suitcase did go to Erie,and the airline had it delivered to my door 3 hours after I returned home. Nice.
Good to see family,we had a family Xmas dinner at a local church hall,Lot's of us. several new baby's ,a new generation to carry on for all of us. I've watched all of these kids grow up,mostly in stages,as I've spent a lot of time on the road. No regrets, I still look for new adventures all the time.
I need to look into a new travel plan for the winter.Must be warm, sandy nearby, inexpensive,and good food as in healthy. And transportation friendly. Walking is best.

I'm in Fla.,came to celebrate my B-day with my youngest son,Terry, we share a B-day,, 6 Dec,, 45 and70.We had a nice weekend.My oldest daughter Lori also came to help us celebrate. I have a few days left here,back to Ohio. I do miss my friend J,She will pick me up Fri.,in Erie Pa.,,noon or so,lunch,a bottle of wine,some good conversation,San Diego on our mind,we are forever wanting to travel.Or should it be ,we want to travel, forever.
I have many other friends and relatives in Ohio that I miss when I'm on the road.I try to send post cards, a letter now and then. This is my first time in Fla.,withous a car. Trying to go green in my travels.I sold my Audi 6 mo. ago. I've been introduced to some new travel ticket sites,need to know,ask me.
I'm looking for best air deals to Manila P.I.,,and to New Zeland,from U.S. west coast.I need to travel in Jan.09,out of Ohio, looking for sun, photos, and new friends.

About me, Single, Male,USN (RET) photographer these days, I do art work and sell some.I've been on my way to New Zeland for about four years. The road has taken me thru.Fla 3 times, the west coast twice,maybe I'll get there this year. I want stamps on my passport.
